However, if you have never lived in one of these before, you may be unsure what factors to consider. Here are a few important factors to consider as you look for one of these.

If The Unit Is Furnished

One of the most important factors to consider is whether the unit is furnished. If you are looking to live somewhere temporarily, the last thing you may want to worry about doing is furnishing the place. Many short term corporate houses come furnished, but not all. And if it is furnished, find out what that includes. Furnished places may not include linens, computers or other items. Additionally, find out the quality of the furnishings. This is especially important if you may be entertaining clients while there on business.

If Maid Service Is Included

If you are looking to live temporarily in a place, another factor to consider is whether maid service is included in the cost. Some short term units include weekly, bi-weekly or monthly maid service, while others do not. This maid service may include full cleaning or only partial services, like deep cleaning, while you are responsible for dishes and laundry.  If you have a busy schedule, this may be an important factor for you to pay attention to.

If Utilities Are Included

The last factor you need to consider when selecting a short term corporate habitat is whether utilities are included. Just like with a regular rental, some companies or landlords may include all of the utilities in your rent, including electricity and gas. Other places may only include partial utilities, such as sewer and trash. And some places may not include any utilities. Since this can affect the total cost of your rental, it is important to find out what utilities are or are not included in the short term rental.

Some of these are the same factors you need to consider when selecting any rental home, such as rental price, location and the length and terms of the lease. Other factors are specific to a short term unit. Considering all of these factors will help you hone in on the short term rental best suited for you.
